Over the years of watching hundreds of different shows, I can tell you one thing. Most Animes you look up are made for fan service. Although you can also find many action Animes (usually sic-fi), rarely some have a good story line with it. Not the shows that are really cheesy and you kinda saw everything coming in the first place, but the main character(s) are soo stupid to realize it. Also, you can't find perfect people like you would do in an anime, therefore mostly made for fan service.
